David Gingell is the Vice President for Marketing in EMEA at NetApp. He is responsible for the field marketing organization across the region and functions include Integrated Marketing, Channel Marketing, Field Marketing, Marketing Strategy, PR and Analyst Relations, Product and Solutions Marketing and Marketing Operations. He also has responsibility for alliances business development and helps drive adoption of FlexPod in the market with the BDM team.

David is a regular speaker at industry events and has a long history of press and analyst work. Before joining NetApp in May 2011, David worked at Adobe where he held a similar post. Prior to that he was at EMC for 6 years in a succession of marketing roles culminating in the role of VP Marketing for EMEA. Prior to EMC he worked for Documentum from being the 8th employee in EMEA in 1995 until it was acquired by EMC in 2003. At Documentum David built the partner channels and drove marketing in EMEA. Previous experience included sales and business development roles at Oracle and SE management roles at Ingres.
David holds an MBA from Henley Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology; He is a British citizen, lives in London and is married with grown-up children.
Database Services section Leader, CERN
Eric Grancher leads the database services section in the CERN IT department — supporting databases related to mission critical assets such as particle accelerator and experiments events that drive CERN's research into fundamental physics. Since joining CERN in 1996, Eric assumed responsibilities in IT to work on RAC application scalability with Real Application Cluster, storage scalability for databases as well as high-availability architectures. Prior to joining CERN, he graduated as engineer at the French school "Telecom ParisTech" and with an MSc at "Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon". Eric has been an OakTable member since April 2005 and has specific interest in database applications and performance. Eric is a frequent speaker at industry events and Oracle community forums to share his vision, strategy and experience in managing and driving unique Oracle databases.
Senior Consultant, IDC Central Europe GmbH
Matthias Zacher joined IDC Central Europe in April 2011 as a senior consultant. He is responsible for examining trends and industry developments in the extended enterprise applications market and the IT services market in Germany and Switzerland and coordinates and conducts consulting projects.
Zacher has gained experience over the past 10 years in information technology and market research.
Before joining IDC, Zacher was senior advisor with Experton Group. Prior to this, he was a consultant at Meta Group Germany for local software and services providers.
Zacher holds a degree from the Humboldt University of Berlin in information sciences and history.
